Accessibility statement

Smart Dato GmbH is committed to making its website www.smart-dato.com accessible to everyone, regardless of disability or the technology they use.

Compliance status

The website was developed according to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at conformance level AA. These guidelines are also the basis of the European standard EN 301 549. The website is largely compliant with these requirements. The content listed below is not yet accessible.

What we have implemented

• The whole website can be operated by keyboard, with a visible focus and a link to skip directly to the content.
• Text and controls have sufficient colour contrast.
• Informative images have alternative text. Decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
• Videos play without sound, can be paused and do not start automatically when “Reduce motion” is enabled in the system settings.
• Every page has a clear heading structure and is marked up with its language.
• The contact form has labelled fields and clear error messages. The spam check works without image puzzles.
• The cookie notice can be operated by keyboard. The settings can be changed at any time via the link in the footer.

Content that is not accessible

• The general terms and conditions are currently only available in German on the Italian and English website.

This statement was prepared on 25 September 2026. It is based on a self-assessment: all pages were tested automatically against WCAG 2.2 A and AA in desktop and mobile view.
